Last year we couldn't go to the club, but listened to more music online than ever before (because, you know). It has been a great year in terms of electronic music, and the amount of quality releases has been impressive! These tracks are some of our residents' favorites and have been featured in multiple TANK Radio podcasts.
Zombies In Miami - 2712
First up is the amazing album from Zombies in Miami released on Permanent Vacation. Every track on '2712' is an electronic delight, but our personal favorite is 'When Your Time Has Gone'
Roliva & Fausto - Protesis
The personal favorite of resident Baumann. Protesis is a textbook Dark Disco rampage track, and thats exactly the reason why we love this release so much! Mexican duo Roliva & Fausto released this track on Duro. They describe their inspiration for the title as follows:
''Prótesis' refers to all these new technologies and mobile devices that have become an extension of our person, sometimes even part of our body, just like a prosthesis, and his absence feels strange, that strange feeling when you've lost your phone or valuable information".
Luca dell'Orso - XXX009
Frank AV's favorite release for 2020. XXX009 is made by Luca dell'Orso and perfectly showcases the Italo-Disco talent from this upcoming Dutch producer. It is released on XXX and although every track is rock solid we are big fans of 'Static World'.
Bleaching Agent - In Flaming Virtue
A personal favorite of Joris Heijkant which was released on Optimo Music. Joris describes this record as follow:
'Optimo has brought out a string of amazing records in 2020, but this was a definite highlight for me. Dark, energetic and made for the club!'
Enduro Disco - Ciao
Absolute favorite of Reyk released on Exploited. The track is an electronic beauty! Especially the remix done by Biesmans is an absolute piece of perfection!
Pablo Bozzi -Last Moscow Mule
An unanimous choice from all our residents. They have been in love with this track ever since they heard the title track 'Last Moscow Mule' in De School, played by Jennifer Cardini. The record is released on Dischi Autunno.
