Fine disco in a fancy hotel bar. One of those many unusual party places that gets a transformation at ADE.
Bordello Aperitivo

Every year one of our favorite record stores, Bordello a Parigi, hosts nice in-store sessions for free. Come early, and start your ADE in style with a drink and some good Italo. Not only on Wednesday, but every night!

Radio Radio invited some excellent names to start ADE on Wednesday. We love Massimiliano Pagliara, so we would recommend to put this party in your schedule and check his set. The fact that you can also see Cinthie, Virginia, and Laura BCR that same night is a huge bonus!

IsBurning x Maricas

Queer powerhouses IsBurning and Maricas team up for a hell a party at Thuishaven, putting some of dance music’s hottest names like Saoirse and Juliana Huxtable on the bill with the usual suspects like Carlos Valdes and JASSS. And all of them will play long sets.
Overmono
Paradiso, 20:00 (tickets)
Overmono has moved from dance music’s fringes to the mainstream to enormous success last year. This ADE they do their victory lap at Paradiso. Their electronics should fit the former church perfectly.
Meute
Concertgebouw, 20:15 (tickets)
Want a concert, but something less heady than Overmono? Head to the Concertgebouw, where brass band slash street rave outfit Meute is playing. Not as official as the venue might suggest, this one’s all party, as they cover all kinds of electronic music (from Fatima Yamaha to Flume) with the greatest joy.
MiMi x Allo Floride

This is way too commercial for our taste of course, and we should not get excited about this at all. But dance legends A-Trak and The Magician going b2b in a smaller venue for the price of a main dish in Amsterdam? Only during ADE.
United Identities

Colin Benders once again pulls some of (modular) techno’s biggest names out of the hat, including Blawan and JakoJako.

Club Raum is a new haven from the organizers of the queer party Spielraum. KI/KI started out at these parties and look where she is now. Alongside KI/KI they invited a whole pack of exciting names for an amazing night. Unfortunately the tickets are sold out, so TicketSwap is your best friend.

Gotta love these minimal “afters” that are basically just day parties. Trommel & Solid AM treat Noordwaards’ Funktion Ones with some grooves by Edward, Margaret Dygas and many more.
Into The Woods festival

If you (and that’s a big if) want to spend ADE in a big warehouse, pick the NDSM where Dutch party series Into The Woods is doing their thing. Crazy decorations, the usual big names on the bill and lots of crazy stuff to do. Arguably the most fun of the big parties. They also have a rock solid Saturday.
Röyksopp
NDSM, 18:00 - 21:30 (tickets)
Also at the NDSM, DGTL is hosting its (by now) traditional Friday evening opening party. These ones are usual a bit more concert-like on the border of pop and electronic music. No better name for that than Norwegian duo Röyksopp.
Pupkulies & Rebecca + TIBAU
The Other Side, 19:00 - 21:00 (tickets)
The Other Side is our new favorite club in Amsterdam, and will appear a lot of times in this list. Starting with a concert by Pupkulies & Rebecca, who will push the new spatial sound system to its maximum.
Lander & Adriaan

Holy hell, these guys can play! Lander & Adriaan combine jazz, 90’s rave sounds and powerful drumming. That landed them in Muziekgebouw aan het IJ, a well earned spot for these hyper-talented youngsters.
Kater Blau
The Other Side, 22:00 - 06:00 (tickets)
The Other Side did not disappoint with their ADE line-up. On Friday they invite the crew of the legendary Kater Blau club in Berlin. Vibey deep house with a hint of tribal, this evening fits in perfectly with what this new Amsterdam club has to offer.
KI/KI
De Bajes, 23:00 - 06:00 (tickets)
KI/KI’s name is enough to sell out cavernous halls these days. She brings her all-out fast trance to the former prison, which makes this one even more appealing.
Private Hearts Club

The smaller sibling at Westergas has the most inviting parties of the whole area. Private Hearts Club has booked the more subtle side of modern house and trance with ISAbella, Alex Kassian and Elias Mazian. One of those little secret smaller gems you can find at ADE.
Reflektor Records

This one’s all about the experience if they walk the talk, as they’ll transform yuppy summer joint Pllek on its head with “spectacular stage design”. The music’s good anyway, with Tension and Asa Moto on the poster among others.

The Breakfast Club

You’ll find the promoters from The Breakfast Club multiple times in the list. This year they pull off a marathon of sorts, hosting basically a weekender within ADE. They start at The Other Side, two hours after the above party ends! With Ben UFO, Tsepo and Helena Hauff on the bill, this one will be rough and rowdy.
Patrice Bäumel & Sasha

Patrice Bäumel goes b2b with trance legend Sasha (you know, the guy from Xpander) all day long. Might be a set for the books.
Rainbow Disco Club

Danilo Plessow, Coco Maria and Antal make for the most danceable of day parties on Saturday.

No, not the Afterlife giants, but a mobile record shop (in a bus, hence the name) takes over the intimate Sexyland World this evening. Good sounds as well, with names such as Joe Delon and their own dj’s.

Danceable disco, Italo and maybe a hint of our beloved dark disco. With Amsterdam mainstay Daniel Monaco and a lot of Toytonics’ European roster on display.

Man, this one has the big names! From all four (!) Breakfast Club parties this one might be the must attend, with JASSS b2b John Talabot and BC regulars like Marcel Dettmann and Nicolas Lutz.

Yes, you read those times right. For those who simply do not want to stop, Lofi is hosting an 18 hour marathon with the finest techno to close things off. Dj Nobu, DVS1, Gigi FM, Dasha Rush, Sandrien, they’re all there. Man.
Guy J: All boat long

A man from the good old days of main stream deep house, playing on a private boat all day long. For those with with a bit of heimweh.
Breakfast Club (not so breakfast this time)

If you can manage skipping the Monday at work, go to this one. It’s a secret location and a secret line-up. In the case of Breakfast Club, that’s a good thing. Very, very curious what they’re going to do here.
Pornceptual

For the more adventurous among us, fetish/queer party Pornceptual blesses Parallel for the fifth time. Their previous four times sold out in a heartbeat. The music is really good at those ones as well.
Speedy J presents STOOR Live

Last year all the fans of live modular music joined us at this amazing party, so this year Speedy J will return for a whole weekend in Paradiso. Saturday is sold out, but for the Sunday you can still get tickets. This one is a no-brainer if you are a modular-nerd or if you just like proper techno music live-sets.
ADE Hangover
NDSM, 12:00 - 23:00 (Free)
Every year ADE ends with the free ADE Hangover festival. It is situated on the Into The Woods Festival area on the NDSM, so expect a mint looking festival area and some excellent artists. On previous editions we saw intimate sets by The Pachanga Boys and KI/KI in the Feralda Crane. This is probably the perfect hangover cure, while also being a friendly option for your bank account.
